FABRIC CONTENTS: 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester

For centuries Cotton has been renowned as being the principal clothing fiber of the world, and its’ production is one of the most influential factors in world prosperity and economic stability. A medium strength natural plant fiber, Cotton is cool, absorbent, and can withstand high temperatures. When fabricated, Cotton releases perspiration quickly, allowing the fabric to “breathe”, thus giving it a premium on comfort and wearability. Because of its’ absorbency, it is easily garment dyed.

The most common fibers used for industrial knitted fabrics are cotton. Our Eco-friendly Cotton Jersey Burnout is lightweight, it drapes beautifully on the body, and it has just enough stretch across the grain for added comfort and wearing ease. This quality fabric features a stylish burnout design that provides a soft textured surface with a subtle semi sheer effect, and it is suitable for sewing into many apparel body styles fashioned for women's clothing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron.

With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant short tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. The refined burnout texture adds a semi sheer and fashionable touch to support the soft hand of the fabric. Attention is drawn to a captivating “Victorian floral motif” print (which we call "Scarlet") to help express your personal sense of style.

Our pullover Ballet Tee features a round neckline, ¾ length sleeves, and a fitted drape that sweeps down to a bottom hem that sits at the high hip, all classic elements of this iconic body style. Our alluring Scarlet knit fabric print offers seductive visual appeal provided by the interplay of dual design artistry embodied in this fabric. The primary element here is an overprint collage of exotic cottage flowers including Forest Violets, Japanese Peonies, Wild Daisies, Passion Fruit flowers, Orange Osmanthus, and Serrated Dianthus. There are also intricate floral paisley patterns and stylized Lotus symbols, all appearing to be floating among the flowers, creating a dreamlike effect to the printscape. There are also repeating rows of intriguing Hindu temple designs that add an exotic flair to the complexion to the fabric. The secondary element is the burnout netting rendered with a “paisley motif” design which provides soft textured, semi-sheer appeal.
