These ingenious pin-on bow tie brooches are one of Andrew Logan's wearable art creations.  He made this one in 2021 and it embodies his joyful vision of the universe.  They are unisex and can be worn with any outfit, or as a substitute for a formal bow tie to add a dash of sparkle.

The gold bow tie features two pieces of gold mirror glass, set over black resin with a smaller fragment of paler gold rippled glass in the centre.  The resin is drawn into the shape of a bowtie and with the edges encrusted with gold glitter.  The bow tie dimensions are approximately 10 X 2 cm at its widest points and it weighs around 20g.
